It’s about a 2.5 hour drive from New Orleans , but trust us—it’s worth it.

Visitors can enjoy tons of activities, like fishing, crabbing, swimming, or just relaxing on the beach.

There’s a boat launch just outside the park if you’re looking for access to the Gulf, and the Bay is quite popular for sailboats.

And of course, you’ll see tons of people fishing off the pier.

But the sunsets at Cypremort Point State Park are simply mesmerizing.
