Here’s The New Orleans Crawfish Trail You’ve Been Waiting For
Crawfish season is officially here, and luckily there are dozens of restaurants that have started serving them. We’ve found some of the best restaurants int the city to get your mudbug fix, so be sure to check them out!
1. Bevi Seafood
New Orleans native Justin LeBlanc learned the art of boiling crawfish from his grandparents, and it was his dream job to own a restaurant where he could share his delicious recipes with the city. The atmosphere is casual, the service is friendly, and the crawfish just can’t be beat. Two locations: 4701 Airline Drive in Metairie and 236 Carrollton Avenue.
2. Cajun Seafood
Their original location on South Broad Street opened in 1995 and they were so popular they opened three more, so that tells you that this place is good. The family owned and operated restaurant serves quality seafood served piping hot and perfectly seasoned. They have locations at: 1479 N. Claiborne Avenue, 2730 South Broad Street, 1901 Almonaster Avenue, and 7020 Read Boulevard.
Nationally recognized and locally loved, Clesi’s is the place to go when you’re looking for great seafood. They’re also a great option for catering your next event! Find them at 3835 Tulane Avenue or 4323 Bienville Street.
4. Deanie’s Seafood
It’s hard to mention seafood and not mention Deanie’s. They’ve been serving some of the best seafood around for over 50 years. Their crawfish is award winning, and you get get some at their Bucktown location: 1713 Lake Avenue, Metairie, LA 70005.
5. Frank & Johnny’s
Opened in 1942, Frank & Johnny’s has a reputation for serving some of the best boiled and fried seafood in the city. Come see what everyone’s talking about at this friendly neighborhood restaurant located at 321 Arabella Street in New Orleans.
