Fête des Fromages is back for another year of gouda fun and brie-tiful cheeses from about the world. Not only is it the biggest cheese festival in New Orleans, but the entire country. It’s going to be a grate time, so clear your calendars.

The festival takes place on Saturday, November 16, 2019 but there are events on Wednesday November 13th and Friday November 15th, too.
Also known as NOLA Cheese Fest, visitors to this awesome festival will have the opportunity to taste more than 150 cheeses from cheesemakers around the world.

It's the largest cheese festival in the country!
On Wednesday, November 13, visitors can purchase tickets to the Sazerac House for a pairing class that’s sure to dazzle your taste buds.

You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy pairing five different cheeses with five different Sazerac cocktails. This year, national cheese expert Liz Thorpe will be leading the session and you’ll learn the histories behind both the products and the pairings.

On Friday, November 15, local chefs will battle for “perfect bite” bragging rights.

Local chefs from restaurants like Atchafalaya, Bayona, Otra Vez and several others will each prepare their version of a perfect bite with a cheese from a visiting cheesemaker. Try them all and cast your vote!
And then on Saturday, head over to the New Orleans Jazz Museum for an unlimited amount of cheese samples.

Over 150 cheeses from international cheesemakers will be sampling their quality cheeses.
There will be live music plus a special selection of wines and craft beers available for purchase.
