You’ll Love A Trip To This Tiki-Themed Restaurant Hiding In New Orleans
Looking to experience something new and tropical? Well this place fits the bill. It may seem unassuming on the outside, but from the moment you step inside you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to another place.
Tucked away in the French Quarter, Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29 can be easy to miss.
This unassuming restaurant may not seem like much from the outside, but just wait till you step inside.
Named for New Orleans’ latitude, Jeff "Beachbum" Berry opened this fun little tiki-themed space in 2014.
The attention to detail in the design is quite impressive.
Visitors can either hang out at the bar or take a seat for a delicious meal.
And of course, maybe a drink or two...
Featuring a large menu of delicious cocktails, Latitude 29 is the perfect option when you’re looking for a place to unwind after work.
These fruity, tiki-themed cocktails are just what you need after a long day!
Berry spent years researching long lost exotic drinks to feature on the menu.
You’ll also find the classics and then some traditional drinks with their own spin.
Their kitchen is also cooking up some out-of-this-world tiki cuisine you just won’t find anywhere else.
From small dishes and salads to main entrees, the island-inspired menu combines flavors you don’t typically find here in New Orleans.
You'll see some familiar items on the menu too.
Like the traditional shrimp and grits, but with a twist! Spicy grilled shrimp, creamy white pork gravy, and a bacon marmalade. Yum!
Swing by this fun little gastro-pub for an unforgettable experience.
Their address is 321 N Peters St, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130.
