There’s A BBQ Trail In New Orleans And It’s Everything You’ve Ever Dreamed Of
Are you ready to go on the BBQ adventure of your life? I think fasting the day before would be a good way to prepare for a feast like this. Let the great New Orleans BBQ tour begin!
1. Blue Oak BBQ, 900 Carrollton St.
Now a full scale restaurant after being a pop-up, Blue Oak is known for tender meats, awesome sauces, and their amazing brussel sprouts side.
2. McClure’s, 3001 Tchoupitoulas
Tucked inside of the NOLA Brewhouse on Tchoupitoulas, any place with a spread like this deserves a stop in my book.
3. Saucy’s, 4200 Magazine St.
This awesome restaurant doesn't pull any punches, offering up great meats with juicy, delicious sauces.
4. Ms Hyster’s BBQ, 2000 S. Claiborne
For some delicious meats, soul food sides, and great prices, check out this Claiborne Ave. gem.
5. LA Smokehouse, 8300 Earhart Blvd.
You will not be able to stop eating the amazing ribs and pulled pork served here.
6. The Joint, 701 Mazant St.
This Bywater institution knows how to cook perfectly tender, juicy meat and you'll always find a warm smile to cozy up to when you visit here.
