This Small Town Pub In New Orleans Has Some Of The Best Food In The South

There’s nothing better than hitting up your local pub after a long day and enjoying a nice refreshing beverage with your friends. There’s one local pub that’s not only serving a huge selection of draft beers, but also cooking up some of the best food you’ve ever tasted. Let’s take a closer look.

Nestled in the historic Lower Garden District, the Avenue Pub has been open since 1987, but the building dates back much further.
There are no records as to the exact date the building was originally built, but the architecture puts it somewhere around 1845.

Many of the original features still remain, including the tin ceiling and the fireplaces on the second floor.
Open 24 hours a day 365 days a year, there’s never a bad time to swing by and enjoy an ice cold beer and some great food.
