Have you ever explored Carousel Gardens in City Park? It’s really the only amusement park in Orleans parish, which makes for an incredible place to spend the day. You are going to love exploring this beautiful spot.

Carousel Gardens has been open for more than 100 years in New Orleans.

There are over 17 fun rides in Carousel Gardens, and it includes rides for all ages and heights.
The crown jewel of the gardens is the beautiful "flying horses" carousel, which is one of only 100 in the country.

The famed carvers Loof and Carmel created the beautiful carousel, and the National Historic Preservation Society has sung its praises. It is also listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Another amazing feature is the train, which offers rides all throughout the park.

When the annual Celebration in the Oaks light festival happens at the end of December, this train ride is one of the best ways to enjoy the show.
There are also a lot of classic rides at the park, including the Ferris Wheel which provides great views of the city.

You can enjoy visiting here daily from 11am to 6pm. And there are train and carousel rides every half hour starting at 11am until 4:30pm.
The Ladybug Roller Coaster is another classic that will bring a smile to your face.

These gardens are a very popular place for private events, offering everything from small gazebos to unlimited rides for guests.
