There's a reason thousands of people from all over the country gather at this popular event. Come to celebrate the holidays in Louisiana’s oldest city while you’re surrounded by mesmerizing lighting displays, caroling, live music, and more.
The festival kicked off November 17th and will run all the way until January 6th, 2019, so you have plenty of time to see it.

During the festival, the historic downtown area and the nearby Cane River Lake are illuminated by over 300,000 twinkling lights and more than 100 riverbank displays.

They’ll be lit every evening at dusk through the end of the festival in January.
On December 1st, you’ll be able to enjoy a perfect day filled with live music, arts and crafts, food vendors, and, of course, the famous fireworks display.

The spectacular 30-minute-long show over the Cane River Lake is choreographed to holiday music and will leave you speechless.
And Santa will be around from December 2nd - 24th for pictures!

You’ll find the big man in red over on the south end downtown riverbank every night from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
