This Magical Park In Louisiana Is Straight Out Of Your Wildest Dreams

Have you ever heard of transforming a home into a musical instrument? At a new park in New Orleans, this does not have to be just a fantasy. New Orleans airlift is an incredible group of creative designers and tinkerers that have developed a park that is truly like no other. Let’s explore it.

...into musical instruments. After painstaking design and construction, the first music box installation was created.
This is a photo of the first music box installation, which included numerous buildings that could be played and played with to make sounds and music.

It was truly a wonderland, and became a huge hit. The creators of the project began creating pop-up music boxes around New Orleans and around the world—as far away as Berlin.
The success of these installations encouraged them to create a new permanent location for these music box houses, and the brand new Music Box Village was born.

Located at 4557 N. Rampart St., this village includes permanent homes that can be played with and on and all around. It's truly a wonderland for anyone who visits.
The new village was constructed by a team of experienced collaborators and artisans, making for a unique experience.

The opening weekend for the park is just around the corner, from October 28th - October 30th.
After opening weekend, the park will be open to the public for exploration from 12pm - 5pm on Thursdays through Sundays.

It is also set up to be a performance venue, with a number of exciting shows already booked here---including the Lost Bayou Ramblers on December 2nd and 3rd.
