This One Little Louisiana Town Is A Nature Lover’s Dream
Louisiana is just chock-full of natural scenery that’s almost too beautiful to be real. While city life certainly has its perks, there’s something special about driving out to a small town and checking out the sights. For nature lovers, there’s no better town to explore than Homer, a sleepy little town in Northern Louisiana that’s home to one of the most beautiful state parks in Louisiana. Let’s check it out.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Take your boat out on the water or drop your line right from the dock. Largemouth bass, bluegill sunfish, and channel catfish are just a few of the fish you might catch.

With over 10 miles to explore, you could easily spend the entire day just checking out the trails!

While they do offer cabin rentals, there’s nothing like waking up to views like this right outside of your tent.

For more information, be sure to check out the park’s website.
