Welcome to Restoration Park Trail, a great little hike in a beautiful park that is a great excuse to enjoy the outdoors for a while.
This 1.5 mile loop trail is easy-peasy to follow, with mostly paved and boarded paths that let you focus on the beauty around you. The beauty in this half-hour hike is how long you can spend gazing around at the nature surrounding you at any point on the trail.
After your hike, you'll need to refuel. A great choice is Belle's Ole South Diner, a restaurant that will entertain your tastebuds like the trail entertained your eyes.
Everything from fresh beignets to beef tips is on the menu, plus all of the catfish you could want in between. No matter which plate you choose, the portions are sure to refuel you after the hike you had before this.
