Here’s Louisiana’s Top Outdoor Attraction…And You’ll Definitely Want To Do It
Have you ever visited Louisiana’s “outback”? That’s right, the area in Cameron Parish at the heart of the Creole Nature Trail is known as “Louisiana’s Outback” and is truly a sight to be seen. And Grosse Savanne Eco-Tours just might be the very best way to see it.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

There are a variety of eco-types on display here, including native coastal prairies, cypress swamps, and pine forested plantations.

There are over 400 species of migratory birds that can be passing over Louisiana at given times. This gives tour goers the opportunity to check out birds from all over the world!

Explorers in the marshes have seen Owls, Pelicans, Hummingbirds, Turtles, Frogs, Otters, Butterflies, and the gorgeous American Water Lily and Louisiana Irises.

And while you are in the area, don’t forget to check out this gorgeous natural oasis that is hiding in Louisiana. We’re sure that you are going to fall in love with it! And, of course, let us know if you have visited this area before. We love hearing your stories! Have a great Louisiana day. 🙂
