You're Part Of The Family When You Dine At Hambone In Louisiana
Dining out doesn’t have to be some extravagant celebration (though we love those too). Sometimes, you just want a home-cooked meal in a casual space that you and your loved ones can sit back, relax, and enjoy a stimulating conversation over a family meal. Luckily, there’s a charming little eatery over in Mandeville that’s just the ticket for those casual meals, and you’re going to love it.

You'll find it at 544 Girod Street, Mandeville, LA 70448.

Locally owned and operated, Hambone has been a favorite for Northshore residents since it opened in 2018.

The backyard is beautiful and spacious, with a few games to pass the time while you wait on your meal.

The plates are almost too pretty to eat!

The muffuletta, in particular, is worth a drive from any corner of the state.

These meals feed 4-6 people and also include a family-sized house salad.

Chicken & dumplings, cornbread crusted catfish, and lasagna are just a few of the family-meals you could pick up on the way home. Pictured above are their Cajun enchiladas, a Saturday special featuring smoked pork jambalaya, red beans, queso, and a guajullo chili red gravy. Yum!

This hearty classic gets a Hambone twist with gulf shrimp, ham hocks, and a healthy scoop of pickled okra potato salad and collards. It’s not the gumbo you’re expecting, but it’s the gumbo you need.
For more information, including a full menu, check out the restaurant’s website and be sure to give them a follow on Facebook so you never miss out on any of their latest specialty creations.
