You Won’t Want To Miss This Epic Gumbo Cook Off In Louisiana
Everyone loves a good cup of gumbo, right? Well, at this mouth-watering festival, chefs come from all over to see once and for all who has the best gumbo. So come out and sample some gumbo from the best of the best and decide for yourself!
Established in 2013, this cook-off is one you won’t want to miss.
Established in 1981, Volunteers for Youth Justice is a volunteer-based non-profit organization with a mission to provide help for children and families in crisis.
The cook-off takes place from 12 pm to 4 pm at the Festival Plaza in Shreveport.
Be sure to sample them all so you can decide for yourself who is worthy of the title.
First place in seafood, chicken/sausage, and lagniappe will each receive $400, a plaque, team medals, and bragging rights.
...with the winner taking home $250, so be sure to cast your vote!
