Tired of city life? There are plenty of small towns in Louisiana that can help you escape the grind and get back in touch with what’s most important to you. All of the places on this list are perfectly situated near beautiful parts of Louisiana nature. Any one of them would be the perfect place for families or individuals who want to get away from it all.

A few miles west of Lake Arthur, Gueydan offers the flavor of Acadiana with the benefit of being right next door to the White Lake Wetlands Conservation Area.
