The All-You-Can-Eat Mexican Food Buffet In Louisiana You Never Knew You Needed
Mexican cuisine is something that just about everyone likes. No matter whether you’re a taco person, a burrito fan, or just looking for some awesome cheesy enchiladas, you’re sure to find it at this delightful hidden gem.
El Magey Mexican Buffet has been serving some of the best, most authentic Mexican cuisine in the Baton Rouge area for over a decade.
Ruderis and Alex Gomez along with Tommy Sessions opened the restaurant in 2004 and it quickly became a local favorite. Today, the restaurant is still family owned and operated and it’s not uncommon to see the owners in the restaurant, making sure everything is top-notch.
You’ll find some of the most mouthwatering Mexican and Latin American dishes at El Magey.
Many of the dishes are made with the personal recipes of the Gomez’s mother, Tomasita.
The buffet features just about everything you can imagine.
It's great if you’re indecisive and want a little bit of everything. Their BBQ chicken is incredibly popular, but you certainly can’t go wrong with their chicken flautas, chimichangas, shrimp fajitas, or quesadillas. Make sure you save room for dessert, because their sopapillas will make your taste buds explode.
The buffet is offered every day, and won’t break the bank.
During the week, the lunch buffet will only set you back $11.95. During the weekends, it’s only $14.95.
You can find El Magey at 8920 Seigen Ln, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70810.
