The Christmas Village In Louisiana That Becomes Even More Magical Year After Year

LARC’s Acadian Village authentically depicts a typical Cajun village lifestyle in the 19th-century. In the 70s, 23 acres of land was cleared to build this amazing little village. Of the 11 buildings in the village, seven are authentic homes from the 19th-century that were donated by the families whose ancestors once lived in them. From December 1 until December 23rd, Acadian Village transforms into an amazing display full of Christmas lights, animated displays, carnival rides, and live entertainment. This event gets better and better every year, and you should make plans to go check it out!
