Cypremort Point State Park. Overlooking Vermilion Bay, Cypremort Point State Park has some incredible little cabins that are perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. There’s a charming little beach for soaking up some sun, and the fishing here at Cypremort Point State Park is amazing. Be sure to stick around for the sunsets, they’re some of the best in the state.
Fontainebleau State Parkis a 2,800-acre state park over in St. Tammany Parish with some absolutely incredible waterfront cabins. The beach overlooking Lake Pontchartrain is the perfect little spot to kick back and enjoy a book after you explore the nature trails that lead you through the lovely scenery.
Grand Isle State Park. This natural oasis offers something for everyone. Not only is it a fisherman’s paradise, but birdwatchers will love walking along the nature trails, where you can spot countless species of migratory birds. And, of course, the endless miles of beaches are always a popular attraction. The best part about this beach is that you can camp right on the beach!
