Spring is just around the corner, which means that soon the Pelican State will be illuminated in a beautiful color splash as all of the azaleas, orchids, honeysuckle, petunias, and countless other beautiful flowers dazzle us with their colorful blooms. For a truly picture-perfect day, you’ll want to head over to the R.W. Norton Art Gallery where you can stroll through 40 acres of beautiful blooms during their Bloom Festival. Let’s take a closer look.

The Bloom Festival takes place on March 28, 2020 and you’re not going to want to miss it.

Located on the grounds of the R.W. Norton Art Gallery in Shreveport, the festival returns for its 5th year of beautiful blooms, great food, and family-friendly fun.

From 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. plan to spend your day strolling through the 40 acres of beautifully manicured gardens.

The gardens are home to more than 15,000 plants including both native and hybrid azaleas, and it’s the prime time of the year to see them in full bloom.
