With a population that hovers around 2,000 residents, Kentwood, Louisiana is the definition of a small town. While many might just drive right past it without batting an eye, you might be surprised to learn that one of pop music’s biggest names used to call this tiny town home.

Located in Tangipahoa Parish, we'll admit that it's not really the destination small town that's popular for a weekend getaway, but Kentwood is a fun little town to spend an afternoon wandering about.
Spears was actually born in nearby McComb, Mississippi before her family moved to Kentwood when she was young (before the Mickey Mouse Club days).
