Horseback riding can be a fun activity to do year round, even in the winter months. Since the riding stables are located so close to Mammoth Cave National Park, you can partake in a huge variety of activities before or after your riding trip.

Hike the trails within the park, descend into Mammoth Cave itself, or find a spot to camp at either a primitive site or one of the many campgrounds (including options at Double J Stables).
You do have to call ahead to make reservations for a trail ride. You can reach the stables at 270-286-8167.
