The Bluegrass State is considered a beautiful, laid back place to call home. That natural beauty cannot be disputed, but that doesn’t leave us without challenges. We the people have a very real struggle in Kentucky with a variety of things including communication, weather, sports, stereotyping and more. If you have lived here for a while, then you have dealt with at least a few of these 13 ways we struggle in Kentucky:

13. Giving directions for rural areas.

Trying to explain to watch for a red barn, turn by the half collapsed building, etc. etc. can be a challenge. Some people give you a look like you are asking them to drive into Deliverance.

11. When you ask for a coke and they say, "We have Pepsi."

10. When people bring up Paris and Providence, we automatically assume they're talking about Kentucky.
