This Dreamy Kentucky Cabin Has Its Own Private Lake And You’ll Never Want To Leave
It’s true that most of us do not spend all of our days in a charming cabin nestled on a private lake, relaxing in Kentucky’s natural beauty… but that sure sounds nice, doesn’t it? Luckily, many Kentuckians have created getaways like this that we can experience for ourselves, even if only for a night or two. We’ve discovered a dreamy cabin tucked away in Eastern Kentucky that does, indeed, have its own private lake, as well as 13 quiet acres to enjoy! But be forewarned: chances are you’ll never want to leave.
When a home's driveway is a gravel path through thick woods, you know you're headed someplace special.
The three bedroom, two bath house is positioned right on a lovely little lake, which includes its own covered dock. It's the perfect spot for fishing and watching the sun go down. The property is wooded and hilly, but there are some flat spots for exploring.
The cabin may be tucked away in the woods, but it is surprisingly beautiful inside.
Bring plenty of books and rock away on the large porch. The pond is catch and release, but you can definitely spend hours relaxing with a fishing pole and taking in the views and the quiet.
There are also plenty of other outdoor adventures nearby, both in West Virginia and Kentucky.
Yatesville Lake State Park in Kentucky is just a short drive away and has a beautiful lake and hiking trails. It's also only 15 minutes from a gas station, a few restaurants, and other necessities.
This luxurious cabin is an ideal getaway and a beautiful place to visit all year long.
All you need are a few changes of clothes, some groceries, a good book, and a fishing pole and you will be set for a quiet retreat. From the minute you arrive, you'll realize how difficult it will be to leave this charming cabin when the time comes.
These photos do not even do this stunning lakefront cabin and property justice, so you might as well plan a trip to visit it for yourself. For more information on this waterfront cabin in the woods, check out its Airbnb listing here.
