The city’s Wall to Wall mural, designed and painted by renowned artist Robert Dafford and his team, is an incredible tribute to the rich history of Paducah and a stunning visual representation of the beauty of Kentucky. And perhaps the most sought after spot in the city is the Portraits from Paducah's Past Wall to Wall Murals that beautifully frame the confluence of the Ohio and Tennessee Rivers. This display spans three blocks along Water Street and includes over 50 individual murals.
World renowned artist Robert Dafford and his team of muralists created this masterpiece and it is one of the most treasured places to visit in Kentucky.

Each mural represents a piece of Paducah's history. The color, detail, whimsy, and accuracy of each painting will surely leave you astonished. They definitely make for great photo ops, as you can see above, but they also make for a delightful way to spend an afternoon, strolling along the wall, while gazing at the art and river on one side and the charm of Paducah on the other.
The Mural is open every hour of the day, but you'll want to visit during both the day and the evening.

As the sun goes down, the murals are illuminated and become even more magical, if that's even possible. They seem to glow from within and you get an even better view of the intricate work it took to create them.
