Newport On The Levee Has All The Holiday Fun This Season In Kentucky

Newport on the Levee is a riverfront destination in Kentucky for dining, entertainment, shopping, and much more. There's always something going on here, and during the holidays the excitement reaches new heights.

Santa arrived in style at the Levee after Thanksgiving to greet everyone and welcome in this festive time of year. Newport on the Levee lit up and continues to glow now with a massive tree, countless lights, and decorations.

Santa now hangs out in his own adorable, little house on the Levee. These visits with Santa are incredibly unique and specialized, and you can learn more and watch a video about the experience here.

Along with visits with Santa, families can also take a ride on the Newport Express. The train runs, weather permitting, on Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

New to Newport this year is a 9,000-square foot ice skating rink — the largest outdoor rink in all of Kentucky! The rink is open now through President's Day in February and you can see the cost and exact hours here.

While you're at Newport on the Levee, be sure to check out all of the popular attractions, such as the Newport Aquarium. Kentucky's water wonderland is a wonderful place to warm up for a few hours, and if you visit in December, stop by and say hello to Scuba Santa!
