You’re Going To Love These Predictions About Louisville’s Mild Upcoming Winter
Some of us never want the warm summer season to end, while others are waiting anxiously for the first yellow leaf to fall. Autumn is a beautiful season filled with festivals and other fun activities, but what will happen when this short season quickly comes to a close? Winter is approaching, and you may (or may not) like the predictions the Farmer’s Almanac recently released for the cold season.

According to the Farmer's Almanac, this year's winter might bring a white Christmas, as the snowiest periods will be from mid-December to early February; however, it isn't expected to snow much overall. For some, this is a reason to rejoice, and for others, a heavy snowfall will be dearly missed. It looks like we won't have to struggle with a harsh winter in 2018!

The Farmer’s Almanac released its predictions for its 2017-18 winter season and their forecast claims that our next winter will have below-normal snowfall and above-normal precipitation. Sadly, making snow angels and snowmen might be out of the question this year.

This year might be a little more bearable than past winters, due to the temperatures being warmer than usual! Still, be sure to have warm layers on hand to bundle up, just in case. Predictions are useful, but should be taken with a grain of salt.

Not only does the Farmer's Almanac predict a wet, rainy winter, it also predicts that all seasons in 2018 will be filled with more rain than usual. Although the winter will be warmer, the Almanac predicts that spring will be cooler than usual. We'll just have to wait and see how accurate these predictions will be!

Are you happy with these predictions, or do you hope they turn out to be completely wrong? Warmer winters are nice because we may have fewer accidents on the road, and going outside won't be too terrible, but I do hope to see at least one white wintery day! Louisville looks so peaceful covered in a blanket of white snow!
What do you think about these predictions? Completely trustworthy, or totally bogus? Let us know how you think this year’s winter in Louisville will turn out.
