From Beignets To Chicken Fries, You Can’t Go Wrong With The Menu From This Popular Kentucky Food Truck
There are so many wonderful places to grab a bite here in the Bluegrass State, that it can be difficult (not to mention daunting) for a newcomer to stand out. But that’s exactly what La Chandeleur Restaurant & Food Truck has managed to do. The eatery’s owner Kyle Thomas first opened La Chandeleur Food Truck in 2016, after several years of working in established Louisville restaurants such as Jack Fry’s, Proof on Main, and Wild Eggs. Offering French-inspired fare such as crepes and frites, the food truck was a big success — so much so, that in late 2020, Thomas opened a brick-and-mortar restaurant in Louisville’s Beechmont neighborhood. From beignets to chicken fries, you can’t go wrong with the menu from La Chandeleur, whether you’re grabbing an order of hot frites to go from the food truck, or sitting down for a delicious brunch in the restaurant.
Have you visited this Kentucky food truck or restaurant before? If so, what did you have? (We are drooling just thinking about the menu!) Learn more about La Chandeleur’s food truck, restaurant, menu, and hours at the eatery’s website and Facebook page.
