You live in a very average house, in a neighborhood, just like most of America. Who knows why outsiders all think that Kentuckians live peculiar lives? (Or maybe they're not entirely wrong...)
2. If you don't like the weather in Kentucky today...
Louisville and the rest of Kentucky absolutely take advantage of the hype around the Kentucky Derby to celebrate, party, get out of school, work, you name it. It might as well be a state holiday!
And by the end of the week, it's in the fridge containing yesterday's leftovers. It gets tricky when there are several in the fridge and you have to look through them all to find the leftover mac & cheese!
Then you did not have to Google "Druther's" or "Kyarn." And for those of you who do not know the meaning of these words...we'll wait right here while you go search.
For one, those who do not live in Louisville would probably argue that this is very true and there should be a direct route straight to the action on 4th Street. But on the other hand, locals would argue that there is much more to the city than this entertainment area and will likely read it with an emphatic eye roll.
