The historic buildings where she worked on her Little Loom and made items for others (even Eleanor Roosevelt!), are still standing and provide a picturesque place to learn about this often overlooked art form.

While you do not need a reservation for a tour or a visit, it is recommended that you contact them (through their website linked below), to make sure they can accommodate you. Tours are $5 per person and include a visit to all three historic cabins and an oral history of the life of Master Weaver, Lou Tate and her work. You will also have the opportunity to see a number of vintage weaving tools and woven samples.
The Little Loomhouse also offers a variety of classes for all ages, group visits, and several events throughout the year.
