Take This Haunted Train Ride In Kentucky For Some Spooky Thrills
Halloween is just around the corner, and there’s no shortage of events going on around Kentucky to get you into the Halloween spirit. If you’re looking for something kid-friendly and unique, then check out this haunted train ride offered by the Bluegrass Railroad Museum in Versailles.

Wear your costumes, and prepare for a spooky ride through the Kentucky countryside at night. Trains leave at 8 PM, but it’s recommended you get there at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Boarding begins 15 minutes prior to departure.

The Halloween train runs on October 20th and 21st, and the 27th and 28th. You can buy your tickets in advance here The journey is about 90 minutes.

Don't be afraid to go out all with your costumes-- it is Halloween after all.

If a costumed train ride isn’t your thing, the Bluegrass Railroad Museum also offers pumpkin patch rides. Every weekend in October, the trains stop at the Life Adventure Center so passengers so pick out a pumpkin before getting back on the train and heading back to the station.
