It finally happened! Halloween will be on a Saturday this year and every single parent and teacher is thrilled. Of course it has to happen in the crazy year that is 2020, but it just so happens that Halloween on a Saturday isn’t the only unique thing about this fun-filled tradition. Our country, Kentucky included, will witness a rare Halloween Blue Moon this year. The phrase “Once in a blue moon” seems to apply to a lot of things this year, and ironically we’ve all heard the connection of this year to another popular phrase, “Hindsight is 2020.” I guess we’ll just add a Halloween Blue Moon to the (long) list of the craziness of 2020.
