Kentucky has been a big fan of the locally run restaurant before it was trendy to be one. Mom & Pop eateries are all over the state and serve great food with wonderful customer service. If you grew up here, you probably know a place down the street, and you likely know the owners as well.

There isn't really a need for highways in Kentucky, because if you grew up here, you probably prefer to take the backroads. As you should, because Kentucky has some of the most beautiful driving scenery in the country and who wouldn't want to relax while peacefully driving past horse farms and climbing mountains?
