There’s A New Covered Wagon Campground In Kentucky And It’s A Unique Overnight Adventure

The Conestoga Wagons at the Horse Cave KOA are now available for rent and they’re filled with surprises.
Horse Cave KOA is a popular campground, conveniently located near all of the fun to be had in this Kentucky town.
The Horse Cave area is a great getaway destination for its various attractions, including the fascinating Hidden River Cave. The campground offers RV spots and cabins for rent, but it now has a new feature that is truly unique.
Three Conestoga Wagons, a type of covered wagon, were recently completed at the campground and are now available for overnight stays.
As you can imagine, these wagons are already quite popular, so at first the campground is requiring a minimum two-night stay. They're also offering a special rate of $119/night plus taxes through June 21st. The rate will go up to $150/night plus taxes after that.
The set up of the wagons is similar to an RV, but you don't have to bring it with you!
You'll of course have the use of the wagon during your stay, as well as the bath house, which is right across from the wagons. You also have a designated area right outside your wagon to set up as you like.
The interior of the wagons may surprise you, as they look like a nice hotel room with so many modern features and amenities.
