This year, the readers of Kentucky Living voted and their pick for the best hamburger in Kentucky went to this iconic dive in Hopkinsville. Ferrell's has been serving locals mouthwatering burgers since 1929, so it obviously has been doing something right.
This tiny diner is nostalgic and simple. The only expectation you should have when visiting is to enjoy the most unbelievable burger ever.

There are only a few bar stools in this small space, and there are usually a steady stream of locals and visitors, stopping in to get their Ferrell's fix.
The secret to these burgers seems to be the fresh meat and made-to-order status.

The burgers are the perfect combination of juicy, crispy, and flavorful. They're not huge, so you should definitely consider ordering a double or even two. You can't beat the price, so don't worry too much about racking up a big bill.
The menu is short and sweet at Ferrell's, because it can be.

They do serve breakfast, as well as delicious chili, hot dogs and grilled cheese.
Ferrell's also has locations in Cadiz and Madisonville, but it's the legendary Hopkinsville dive that was awarded this honor.
