There’s An Adult Summer Camp In Kentucky And It’ll Make All Your Relaxation Dreams Come True
If you ever experienced summer camp as a kid, then you likely look back on fond memories of cabin sleeping, games of Capture the Flag, and splashing around in a lake. Camp was the ultimate getaway for fun and relaxation, and the truth is, adults need that more than kids! Thankfully, the wonderful people at SUP Kentucky – who’ve pretty much defined fun in the Bluegrass – have started a new experience that’s just for the big kids at heart. They recently hosted their first Adult Summer Camp, and with more opportunities coming up, you can make all your relaxation dreams come true.

SUP Kentucky is a local business that basically brought stand up paddleboarding to our state and has added more and more to their repertoire ever since.
They recently put many of their best experiences together into one epic weekend of summer fun and hosted an Adult Summer Camp that's the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
The weekend begins at Paris Landing, a beautiful "glamping" property where you'll stay during camp.
As of this article's publication, the larger glamping tents were booked for their upcoming camp (September 21-23), but there are other accommodations available that are just as charming. You can even choose to bring your own tent if you like.
The focus for the weekend is relaxation and to make it what you want. Paris Landing is the perfect backdrop with beautiful grounds, and outdoor bathhouse with private tub and shower, and hammocks that are ideal for a mid-morning nap.
The time is yours, so you're free to make this camp experience exactly what you need and want.
After arriving on Friday, you'll have time to explore the grounds and the water with a stand-up paddleboard or kayak. A fresh dinner is then served and you can rest up for a weekend of fun.
Breakfast is served on the property Saturday morning after a relaxing yoga session, and then you can choose to hang out or head out to a few experiences off of the property. If you choose to stay, you can continue playing around the grounds and on the water, or hide away in an outdoor bubble bath.
If you choose to leave, the first stop is a private group tour of Claiborne Farm, a beautiful horse farm nearby.
One of the best features of this summer camp experience is that it is all set up for you. All you have to do is show up, ready for a good time, and prepared for a weekend of relaxation and as much adventure as you'd like.
Adult Summer Camp is a brilliant idea, and we couldn't be more excited that this experience is now available in Kentucky.
The next camp dates are September 21-23, 2018 and spots are filling up fast. SUP Kentucky will likely continue this experience into October and beyond, so be sure to keep up with them through the website linked below, and also follow along with them on Facebook here.
