If you're into history, the Federal House offers guests an authentic 1830s experience. This home retains all the old features of yesteryear. It's been immaculately cared for, and it's hard to believe that it's 200 years old! This home has two different accommodations, each with their own entrance and unique features!

What's the most unique bed and breakfast in Kentucky?

It doesn't get more uniquely Kentucky than bourbon, and the Samuels family is our very own dynasty. And if you're into bourbon (and you're in Kentucky, so of course you are!), you will definitely want to book a night in the Maker’s Mark Family’s historic Kentucky home! The Samuels House is now open for guests to enjoy, and this historic place — complete with its own bourbon bar! — is a must for any self-described bourbon sommeliers in the Bluegrass State. Constructed in 1820 by John Samuels, the son of Robert Samuels -- who made whisky for George Washington's troops in the Revolutionary War! -- this property remained in family hands until the 1950s. The house is now owned by Rob Samuels, an eighth-generation whisky maker and Managing Director of Maker's Mark Distillery, and it's open for guests to come and enjoy!
