Life is full of lessons. Even after becoming adults, most of us still continue growing and developing. However, a childhood spent in a rural county in Kentucky often teaches us a few things one doesn’t get to experience in bigger cities. Most of us grow up pretty normal, but with the addition of a few extra life experiences that one just doesn’t have in large metropolitan areas.

Just to be clear, some of the lessons do cross over between suburbs and rural areas, especially if an elder happens to be from the country.
