When you think about fine arts masterpieces, you typically think about collections in an art museum, or sitting in an ornate frame, mounted by the roaring fireplace inside an old-school mansion. Both of these thoughts would make sense, as this is usually where beautiful paintings “belong.”

Things in Kansas are a little different. While the state has many beautiful art museums worth checking out, the largest masterpiece of them all is actually hiding in the city of Goodland, Kansas. We never would have guessed that such a famous painting (even if it is a reproduction of the original) would be found in the heart of the United States!
