A Meal At This Old School Diner In Kansas Will Whisk You Back In Time
Whoever coined the phrase “change is a good thing” had no idea what they were talking about. (There, I said it!) People aren’t nearly as friendly as they used to be, food is processed and generic… it just isn’t the same. However, when it comes to this one iconic Kansas diner, very little has changed during its 50+ year lifespan – and we aren’t complaining! See for yourself why making minimal changes over the years has kept this old school Kansas diner at the top of its game:
In the past, Ty’s was only open during lunch hours (11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday), but recently added a much appreciated dinnertime slot of 5 to 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The diner can be found at 928 West 2nd St N. in Wichita.
