In Northeastern Kansas, there lies a stunning part of the state that offers cabins and camping to adventurous visitors both local and simply visiting.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

Spanning 1200 unforgettable acres, this fabulous park has something for just about everyone.

The cabins come equipped with full kitchens (including pots and pans!), full-sized bathrooms, AC & heating, grills, fire pits, and more. It's an ideal getaway for just the weekend or for longer.

Take any one of Tuttle Creek's nature or biking trails through the awesome Flint Hills, or even explore the area on horseback via one of the equestrian trails on site.

Further activities available to do here include 18 holes of disc golf, horseshoe pits, and volleyball courts.

On this reserve, and around the park, one can spot waterfowl, turkeys, quail, deer, doves, and several other species of critters.

Boating and fishing are popular along the 100 miles of shoreline offered by the park.

During the off-season, the park is not tended to and there is no staff on the grounds. However, cabins are still available for reservation.
If you’d like to visit this gorgeous Kansas treasure, make sure to reserve your spot in the cabins here.
