Do You Remember Kansas’s Quirky Vehicular Art Installation, Truckhenge?

If you’ve been around Kansas a few times, odds are you’ve seen a few odd things here and there. Whether that’s the whole town of Lucas or something smaller, taking photos and enjoying how strange Kansas can be is one thing we love doing. Do you remember a Topeka oddity named Truckhenge? It is one of those locations you’ll be taking in slowly and remembering for years to come.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now:

For more information about events held here, you’ll want to see the Truckhenge Facebook page or the official Truckhenge website.

We love the Topeka area and especially Ron Lessman’s work here at Truckhenge, but we understand one location usually doesn’t take all day to explore. When you get hungry in town, you’ll want to check out this quick stop that’s one of the best spots for food in Topeka.
