The Blacksmith Shop will also transport you back in time. The authentic appearance of the shop is interesting and makes you feel like you truly are walking around Kansas in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
The Pauline Depot and Caboose is one area in this historic village you will not want to miss. The depot was built in 1910 for only $985. It was built in Pauline, south of Topeka, and was moved to Old Prairie Town in 1982.
The 1800s one-room schoolhouse is a delightful area for adults and children alike. Groups can schedule an hour-long class in the schoolhouse, learning about life in Kansas decades ago and participating in games from the day.
The Potwin Drug Store is a favorite stop at this historic site in Kansas. Inside, you can step right up to the counter and order a soda or some tasty candy.

The 2.5-acre Ward-Meade Botanical Garden is a gorgeous stop at this historic site. Here, you will find more than 500 trees and shrubs and 5,000 annual flowers.
