Drink Your Way Through Kansas On The Margarita Marathon
Kansas doesn’t have an official Margarita Marathon, but it’s definitely something we think we need. We’ve made quite a few road trips following a trail of our favorite foods and drinks, but today it’s going to get a little crazy. We all love margaritas, and this city in Kansas is perfect to enjoy one after the other.
We’ve made this margarita marathon that can be driven if you have a DD or walked if you’ve got the legs to take you through it. Regardless, we hope you enjoy these 7 margaritas and more than a couple of tacos along our newest trail. It’s about 4 miles long, but you’ll need to walk off the tacos anyway, right?
La Fiesta is where we're starting the party, where you can get 16-ounce margaritas for $5 or a pitcher for $10. Their peach margarita is my favorite, but they come in a few other flavors worth trying as well.
Address: 2301 Tuttle Creek Boulevard, Manhattan, KS 66502
Bluestem is the classier spot on this margarita marathon, but don't let that keep you from stopping by. Their food is delicious, but a margarita on the side makes it even better.
Address: 1880 Kimball Avenue Suite 100, Manhattan, KS 66502
Get your drink on at Coco Bolos where $5 gets you a carafe of your margarita. They also serve a Top Shelf margarite, beer-rita, jalapeno margarita, Italian, and coin style. The more the merrier!
Taco Lucha serves not only plenty of good tacos and great margaritas, but other drinks like micheladas, polomas, and sangria. Might as well get a round for the table!
One tall margarita can be enjoyed at El Patron, in various varieties. They have Azul, Pink Lemonade, Jalapeno, Patron, and the house style with plenty of flavors you can add in.
Bourbon & Baker has always made excellent dishes no matter what you order, but their chorizo egg tostada pairs perfectly with a brunch margarita. Sunnyside up, anyone?
