Traditionally, they were made with felt or animal skins and wood or bamboo. They've been around central Asia for 3,000 years, but most people in the U.S. have probably never heard of one before.
Inside, you'll find modern comforts such as a bed, table, and couch for you to use during your stay at the park.

Doesn't this look cozy? It's very similar to traditional camping in a tent, except you have more space for a real bed and much more wind resistance.
Eisenhower State Park is the only one we know of to rent out yurts at this time, but we hope to see more alternative camping in the future!
