This Tiny Kansas Town Is One Of The Happiest Places In America
In small town Kansas, you’ll find plenty of happy, kind people. Though many towns have their pros and cons, this town in the heart of Kansas is one of the happiest places in the state, and we think America as well. Don’t believe us? Ask those who live there why they love their town. As for us, here’s why we think they’re so happy:
Firstly, they have just the right amount of people to keep it interesting without being overwhelming. As of the 2010 census, they had 4,506 residents, which makes it easy to know your neighbors and not know everyone.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
Born and raised Kansan, Clarisa has lived in both tiny towns and cities during her time here in the Sunflower State, mostly in the south central area. Clarisa is a stay-at-home mother of one crazy kid, two cats, and two geckos, and has been writing anything and everything since she's held a pencil, though Kansas and fantasy novels take up most of her time.
