The total length of this artistic piece is 660 feet, making it one of the largest in the area, and larger than any other I've seen in Kansas thus far. It's also 23 feet high, making it quite the challenge to paint.

The whole wall was painted by just seven artists, in a span of about three months. It is "read" from left to right, leading into the future.

The story starts with the Hopewell Native Americans and other tribes that were forced to move to this area, and includes scenes like the silver smelter, Mexican workers brought here to lay railroad tracks, the great flood of 1951, and other famous scenes from the Argentine area.

There's also a plaque noting the artists that worked on this masterpiece, as well as supporters of the mural and the Guild of Latino Fine Arts.
