Busy day? Sometimes you just need to find a good place to get away from it all. There are plenty of “regular” spots to hang out at, but these hidden oases are my personal favorite, because I’ve never run into anyone at any of my visits. Why not give them a try? Getting closer to nature, breathing some fresh air, and spending some time alone might be just what we all need.
Pioneers on the Oregon Trail used to stop near here, and so can you! It's pretty lonely most days, and the water is simply relaxing to sit down and listen to.
Every once in a while, there's a stretch of beach that doesn't get visited, and the waters are calm and reflective.
