Here in Kansas, there’s many a family store and corner shop in our small towns, but they’re usually pretty similar. This little hardware store in small town Kansas is especially unique however, from the owners to the products they sell. You won’t find another store like this anywhere else! However, you should definitely go check it out for yourself! Let’s take a look.

Welcome to The Old Hardware Store in Halstead, where you can find so many pieces from the Civil War until the 1970s.

In addition to old metal fixings, the store itself has been operating since 1885, and under the current owner since 1998.

Everything was reverted to the older style merchandise when the owner, Margaret Kraisinger, decided she wanted an out-of-the-ordinary store.
However, you can find many items that aren't door fixings living here.

From poison bottles and antique signs to all sorts of other oldies, there's so much to see and find here at this little shop.
Also, the owner is planning on retiring soon, and the entire place is up for sale, including the contents.

Everything is up for auction, and ready to hand off to the new owner. Wouldn't you like to own a place like this?
