Are you longing for the sights and scents of fall? The smell of fall is crisp, warm, and full of ripe apples. The sights are full of reds and yellows, with orange in between. Fall is a beautiful time, and between the hay rides and the delicious fall drinks, there’s nothing better. Apple cider is one of the best smells, and you’ll only find it freshly made at this charming cider mill in Kansas. Let’s take a look, shall we?
Welcome to the Louisburg Cider Mill, a farm bought in 1975 and made into a lifetime business.
In 1977, they pressed and served their first cider. Now, in their third generation, they've expanded to other apple and cider related products. But, did you know they also make something else that's just as tasty as cider?
Donuts? Yes! Hot and fresh, right out of the fryer. These donuts are perfect with a cup of their cider, and both are a great snack to have before heading into their corn maze.
If you like cider as much as I do, you'll want to taste both their regular blend and their special honeycrisp cider. It's not something you can find all over the place, and it's absolutely refreshing on a cool day.
Plus, you can plan a day trip to the cider mill and check out the pumpkin patch, watch the donuts being made, and even enjoy some live music on occasion. See you there?
