Kansas is a LONG way from Hollywood (both geographically and in climate), but that doesn’t mean you won’t see an A-Lister out and about in the Sunflower State! Here are 5 Kansas locations where you’re most likely to spot a celebrity:
1. Big Slick Celebrity Weekend
The event itself might be held on the KC MO side, but the annual fundraiser is hosted by Shawnee Mission graduates Paul Rudd, Jason Sudeikis and Rob Riggle, and draws in HUGE celebrities, including Jon Hamm, Will Ferrell and Eric Stonestreet.
2. A Jayhawks Basketball Game
If you didn't get a chance to attend the Big Slick, you might still see Paul Rudd, Rob Riggle or Jason Sudeikis taking in a KU game (The three have been spotted on different occasions)!
3. K-State Football Game
EMAW--including K-State alum Eric Stonestreet (who loves to cheer on his team)!
4. Along I-70
I know this is extremely broad, but just keep your eyes peeled along I-70--you never know whose tour bus you'll see pulled off at an IHOP! **I can confirm that I once saw Taylor Swift's tour bus in Hays.**
5. Landmark Restaurants
The more famous (and delicious) the restaurant, the more likely you are to spot a celebrity, politician or sports star.
